Introduction
ChatCart Pro is a premium WooCommerce plugin that brings two complementary features to your WooCommerce store: a WhatsApp-powered checkout flow, and multi-channel contact buttons. The WhatsApp Checkout lets customers complete a purchase directly via WhatsApp: they fill a lightweight form, a WooCommerce order is created automatically, and WhatsApp opens with a fully formatted order summary ready to send. Contact Channel Buttons let customers reach your store on Messenger, Instagram, iMessage, RCS, or Snapchat for inquiries and pre-sale questions, without going through a checkout form.
This approach works especially well for stores that rely on personal selling, custom orders, or operate in markets where messaging apps are the primary communication channel.
How It Works
The flow is simple and entirely on-brand for conversational commerce:
- A customer views a product or their cart and clicks the WhatsApp button.
- A lightweight modal or inline form collects the necessary details: name, phone, address (optional), and payment preference.
- ChatCart Pro generates a structured order summary message including product names, quantities, prices, the customer's chosen payment method, and any order notes.
- The customer is redirected to WhatsApp (web or app) with that message pre-populated and your store's number (or a routed number) as the recipient.
- The customer reviews the message and taps Send, and your team receives a clean, complete order via WhatsApp.

Requirements
Before installing ChatCart Pro, make sure your hosting environment meets the following minimum requirements.

No WhatsApp API required
ChatCart Pro uses the standard WhatsApp deep link (https://wa.me/), with no API keys, no Business API subscription, and no third-party services required. It works with a regular WhatsApp number or a WhatsApp Business account.
Installation
ChatCart Pro is distributed as a standard WordPress plugin ZIP file. Follow these steps to install and activate it on your store.
Step 1: Download the plugin
After purchasing ChatCart Pro, download the plugin ZIP file from your account at veloryntech.com/go. The file will be named something like chatcart-pro.zip.
Step 2: Navigate to Add Plugin
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin, then click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the page.
Step 3: Upload the ZIP file
Click Choose File, select the chatcart-pro.zip file you downloaded, then click Install Now.
Step 4: Activate the plugin
Once WordPress finishes uploading and installing the files, click the Activate Plugin button. ChatCart Pro is now active on your site.
Step 5: Confirm activation
You should now see ChatCart Pro listed in your Plugins screen with a status of "Active." You will notice a new ChatCart Pro item in the WordPress admin sidebar. Once you activate your license key (in ChatCart Pro → General → License), a second item, CCP Analytics, will also appear.
First Setup
After activating the plugin, take a few minutes to complete the initial setup:
- Go to ChatCart Pro → Settings in your WordPress admin sidebar.
- Activate your license: In the General tab, find the License card, paste the purchase code you received by email after subscribing, and click Activate. Your license must be active for all premium features (Checkout Fields, Payment Methods, Floating Button, Number Routing) to work.
- On the General tab, enter your WhatsApp number in international format (e.g., 12125551234 for a US number). This is the number that customers will message when they complete a purchase.
- Customize the button text and select which pages the button should appear on.
- Under the Fields tab, decide which checkout form fields to show or hide. At a minimum, Name and Phone are recommended.
- Under Payment, add your accepted payment methods so customers can select one during checkout.
- Save your settings, then visit a product page on your store's front end to confirm the button is visible and working correctly.
Purchased from the WooCommerce Marketplace?
Skip the license step entirely: all features are already unlocked automatically. WooCommerce Marketplace purchases come with an annual license managed directly by WooCommerce, with no activation required inside the plugin. The monthly subscription model applies only to purchases made through the Veloryn website.
Quick test
After setup, open a product page on your store and click the WhatsApp button. A checkout form should appear. Fill it in and submit. You should be redirected to WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. If that works, you're all set.
